Aprons – Y/N? If Y, what does your favorite look like?
Yes.  I’ve got several.  My favorite one was given to me by a woman in our old ward that I visit taught with. She is Japanese/Hawaiian and is probably in her 80’s.  It’s a blue hawaiian print and at the neckline it looks like you’re wearing a lei when you have it on.  It’s cute and reminds me of her.

Baking – Favorite thing to bake
I love to bake. I’d rather bake then cook (although I’m pretty good at both).  I like to bake most anything that results in something fabulous tasting and looking!  I’m going to go with birthday cakes for my kids though.

Clothesline – Y/N?

Donuts – Have you ever made them?
If making them out of canned biscuit dough counts.

Every day – One homemaking thing you do every day,
Just one?  Dishes for sure.  Cooking meals also.

Freezer – Do you have a separate deep freeze?
Yes.  I couldn’t live without it.

Garbage Disposal – Y/N?
Yes (who doesn’t have one of those these days?)

Handbook – What is your favorite homemaking resource?
I’m going to go with The Internet.  Seriously anything you could ever want to know…

Ironing – Love it or hate it?
HATE

Junk drawer – Y/N? Where is it?
Yes, in my desk.
~
Kitchen – Color and decorating scheme?
Right now it’s early apartment decor…  Before:

I miss my kitchen!!  I can’t wait to have a ‘real’ kitchen again.

Love – What is your favorite part of homemaking?
That I don’t have a ‘boss’(although I think more would get done if I did) and even though there are lots of things that are repetitive I can choose to switch things up and do my own thing when I want.

Mop – Y/N?
Yes?  Seems silly- if you have floors you have to mop.
~
Nylons – Wash by hand or in the washing machine?
I rarely wear them.  Like so rarely I don’t know that I do wash them…

Oven – Do you use the window or open the oven to check?
I open the door!
~
Pizza – What do you put on yours?
my favorite?  Homemade crust that is to die for, BBQ sauce, Asiago cheese, Mozzerella cheese, Parm cheese, Teryaki chicken, pineapple, green peppers, red onion, tomatoes and sometimes bacon.

Quiet – What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?
Nap, play on the computer, read, take a bath, clean, organize, sew, yoga… there aren’t enough things.
~
Recipe card box – Y/N? What does it look like?
I have one but I rarely use it.  It’s just a grey box (I’m not even sure where it is).

Style of house – What style is your house?
Right now I’m in an apartment. My previous house was (simple) French Country- and I’ll be decorating my next house the same way.

Tablecloths and napkins – Y/N?
Tablecloths are impossible with toddlers.  Napkins we have- but paper ones not cloth.

Under the kitchen sink – Organized or toxic wasteland?
Currently organized.  I have to use every square inch of this place to full capacity.
~
Vacuum – How many times per week?
pretty much daily.  But I might skip a day or two.  So 5 minimum?
~
Wash - How many loads of laundry do you do per week?
7-10 depending on the level of ‘accidents’
~
X’s – Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?
Depends on the day. When I really have a lot to get done that seems overwhelming or when I need motivation then yes.
~
Yard – Y/N? Who does what?
Currently maitenence does.  But I generally do the planting and Steve does the rest.  I think I’ve mown our lawn maybe 3 times in the last 7 years that we’ve had one.
~
Zzz’s – What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?
Generally starting the dishwasher.
