Okay- we made some serious progress this weekend. Steve helped lots-

Isn’t he hot!!

I still need to do the girls bathroom and the laundry room as well as do some serious laundry- but the house feels a lot more livable.

I believe Maria asked for pictures…. I’m sure this isn’t what she had in mind- but this is what i’ve got.
I feel like my house is swallowing me whole since we got back with all this extra ’stuff’ that needs a place to go- but the house was already mostly put together. Ugg. It’s just overwhelming to even look at. So I took pictures, and I’m taking after pictures (some are already done) to prove my progress- and to spur me on. Do if I’ve not updated with completed pictures by Sunday night give me a hard time. Steve and I are going camping this weekend to celebrate our anniversary- but I’m working hard tonight and all morning tomorrow to get some major cleaning/laundry done. Plus I worked like crazy today.

First- the kitchen. Mostly because I already finished.

Then there is ‘the pile’. It’s all the leftover stuff that didn’t fit into the storage unit really. We took the big stuff over and then the unit was full. The pile extends around the couch. Ugg.

The ‘pile’ is gone and the closet door can now be opened- and all dress shoes are in the closet.

Then the shelf in the living dining area. It’s half desk stuff/computer stuff and half kitchen overflow. But right now it’s all a jumbled mess.

Done! I used baskets to contain most stuff that wasn’t ‘fitting’ or falling off the shelf constantly. It looks much more contained and organized. I also finished organizing/filling up the can shelf next to it. Not the prettiest stuff to have out in the living area- but it’s only temporary right?

This box has been sitting on the entertainment center since we moved in. It must be unpacked.

The Secretary. I’ve not fully unpacked it yet. Plus the shoes. The ones we don’t wear regularly need to be put somewhere else.
