Some positive things about Utah- in pictures

Scenery like this.  LOVE the mountains.  Steve pointed out the other night that Las Vegas has mountains.  While that is true they don’t compare to the mountains here.

Also the trees are in bloom this week.  Everywhere you go.

There are also some positives to apartment living.  While there are some downsides (space, stale smoke smell, parking to name a few) there are also some pluses. Our complex is full of kids.  All a short walk from our front door. Kids who are willing to play imaginary games for hours right outside our front door.  In Las Vegas I didn’t let the kids play out front without me being there because of cars, strangers, etc- here it’s safe to let them play because I can see them right outside the front door- and there aren’t cars.  I love that.

Another positive? Our buildings are numbered and then the units in the building are given letters.  So the alcove that we’re in?

The perv in me giggles everytime I see it.

  1. Grrrowl! (that’s my sexy gutteral vixen voice) My husband would be skipping in the door every night if that was our address!

  2. How did I not notice that when I was there? PIMP!

  3. Gorgeous mountains! I’m glad you’re getting settled in :)

  4. Oh my…I’m blushing! For some reason, that George Michael song popped right into my head with your picture. Now there is an argument for controlling what your kids listen to if I’ve ever known one.

Thank you for sharing the upsides of apartment dwelling as it is highly likely we will share the same experience soon.

  5. giggle giggle

  6. I do miss the scenery in Utah…the mountains in this part of Colorado just don’t compare.

Glad you’re getting settled in…wish my apartment had something “dirty” like that so I could get a giggle everyday. LOL!
