Woot?  Utah is beautiful.  It really is.  Steve and I went for a drive in the canyon and it just smelled so good. I also like that I already have friends here.  We went to dinner at my friend Beth’s house on Sunday night. Pretty much the best meal ever.  I think we ate pizza for every meal between Friday night and Sunday lunch.  So the pot roast was fabulous. I also went to lunch yesterday with some ‘internet friends’ although I’ve known them ‘IRL’ for so long they hardly qualify as that anymore.  I haven’t been able to enroll Ashley in school yet since I can’t find all her paperwork- I’m still trying to locate her immunization records- I’m not good at keeping track of stuff like that.

Our apartment is pretty big for an apartment.  It does have a lot of nooks and crannies for storing things- which is good since our storage unit is almost overflowing and we’ve still got stuff in Las Vegas to bring up.  But the girls are enjoying the large tree out our front door and I feel safe enough to let them climb it as long as we leave the door open.  It’s almost like having a backyard.

I’m in awe of the size of the yards here.  Seriously. HUGE.  I can’t wait to buy a house and have a huge yard.  Of course huge is relative.  A quarter acre seems huge to me coming from Vegas.

Random weird thing- it seems that there are more smokers here than in Vegas.  Seriously.  What’s up with that?  Is it just that I live in an apartment?  Is it just the town I live in?  Thoughts?
