Ashley’s Baptism
Ashley was baptized two weeks ago. Here she is just before getting wet with Steve:
Here she is in the dress that I made for her to wear after the baptism. I’m pretty proud of my handiwork- I’m no Char afterall.
I can’t believe how big she is! I can’t believe that I’m old enough to have an eight year old. I vividly remember my baptism and how old I felt. I thought I was so grown up.
We had a great day. There were lots of friends and family who came to her big day and I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. There were 8 other eight year olds getting baptized the same time as her. We of course had a big party afterwards at our house and grilled chicken, teriaki salmon and hot dogs. I made a chocolate cake too- but I didn’t get a picture of it.

Congratulations Ashley!
I think you did a GREAT job on the dress!
Yay Ashley!
The dress is really cute! Way better than the one I attempted for L’s baptism, lol.
Aw, I’ve only had boys baptized, never had the pressure to come up with a great white dress. Your day sounds wonderful. Moving and time to sew a dress to boot? You are awesome!
