So I took Cori to preschool today. She was not very excited. We seem to have good days and bad days as far as getting to preschool goes. Thing is that she loves it once she gets there- every time! Anyway, she wanted me to come with her and after two weeks of track break and then two extra kids this morning I wanted to have some alone time! She finally got out of the car and stomped into preschool.
I was almost home when her teacher called. I was really worried that she was throwing a fit or something- but her teacher said she came in and threw her backpack down and threw her coat down. Miss Tammy (her teacher) had her come sit on her lap and asked her why she was upset. She told her she loved her and what a good color-er she was and how much she liked having her at school. ‘I just wish you liked me and liked coming to school’.
Cori says, “I do like you- I just don’t like your school.”
At least she’s honest right?

HAHAHAHA!! Kids are brutally honest. As a preschool teacher she should have known better!! (0;

Hey, at least she likes the teacher! My Boy has his off days, too, where he’s crying and refusing to walk so I have to literally drag him into class. Yeah, makes me feel like I’m such a fabulous mom that he can’t bear to be parted from me. Or not.
