So, uh, I have a blog?

You forgot?  Yeah, me too.  Remember my genius basket plan? The idea was to earn some extra Christmas money. Replace my laptop and Steve’s desktop which are both on their last legs.  Then Steve lost his job.  (I didn’t tell you that?  I guess I need to do that).  It’s done very well.  I’ve not slept much the last couple weeks.  But instead of buying new computers we get to pay a house payment and keep the electricity on.  I guess that’ll work.  Good news is that Steve found a new job (I’ll tell you about that too) but in the meantime this is what I’ve been doing.

Turning this:

mmmm… toffee popcorn…

Making White Chocolate Chip Lime cookies in the shape of Utah…

and then putting Jo to work (thanks Jo!)

Then taking good, wholesome apples

dipping them in caramel

Then corrupting them some more…

YUMMY!!

Doing the same (chocolate and then caramel) with hundreds (I think I’m up to 350+) of pretzels

Then there are these little darlings that are a PAIN!

I also threw in some chinese birthday cupcakes for the newly minted 6 year old this morning.

That doesn’t include the triple chocolate peppermint cookies or the peppermint bark…. and there was a ward party that I was in charge of too. See? I have good reasons- I really, really do!

    I have been thinking about you lately. It’s nice to see things are going so well. BTW I searched for White Chocolate Lime Cookies and found a recipe on the web. I can’t wait to try it, I’ve already bought the limes, I just need to finish journals for YW and assembling a present for a niece. Then I can make the cookies, before I start on presents for the other nieces.
