Quick update in pictures

I am aware that I’ve not blogged in a month. I’ve got about 50 things on my plate right now that are ‘more urgent’. Hopefully something will be well formed enough to plug here soon. ;)

First of all- I’m getting older. 31 last month. Woo! Although when I say it 31 doesn’t really sound that old- at least not old enough to be married for 11 years and have 4 kids. Four kids who are ‘big’ kids. Anyway- I got a new oven for my birthday out of necessity (since the old one died). I came home from oven shopping and found these in the kitchen.

Apparently Steve had tried to surprise me and I wasn’t around to be surprised. Aren’t they beautiful?

I’ve also been doing a ton of cakes lately- and other baked goods. I’ve done three cakes since Friday! I’m excited that ‘business’ is picking up. If you know of someone who needs a celebration or wedding cake send them my way. Same with dessert buffets. (Sorry about the shameless plugging). Here are some pictures to make up for it.
