A few things

1.  We had quite possibly the most jam packed with fun 4th of July holiday weekend ever.  Steve had Thursday and Friday off and we fit in the last day of school, a (LONG) date, sleep over with grandma, hike, our side job, BBQ with friends followed by fireworks, Giant slip and slide, picnic in the park with family and friends followed by MORE fireworks.  I LOVE the 4th.  My favorite holiday ever.  Mostly because summer BBQ food and activities are SO much more fun then fall food and activities.  (Sorry Thanksgiving and Christmas).

2. We finished  school and preschool and had projects and programs that I need to share eventually.

3.  My house is trashed.  I feel kinda crappy in a non contagious way.  My friend Jo wanted to host a party here and in exchange is coming over shortly to clean in preparation.  I like her enough to let her see it in need of cleaning. I’m hoping the drugs kick in soon.

4.  I went to the dr. today and was diagnosed with allergy induced asthma.  He even gave me a prescription for an inhaler.  I feel like the nerdy kid on the block now.  He’s also running some tests for something that might explain all my phantom diagnosis’s over the years.  I’ll update you on that when I know something.

5.   I like pancakes in a completely non-romantic way.

What’s up with you?

What? Pancakes? I like them too, but that totally made me laugh because it was so random.

I used to really like the 4th as well, but I still haven’t found a good way to celebrate in Vegas-it’s just not the same. Although this year was even a little less celebrated with a newborn and all.

LOL! Just thought you needed to throw in number 5??? Or am I missing something???

Sorry you’re feeling crappy. Hope you’re feeling better soon.

What’s up with me??? Well… I’m getting really tired of all the false alarm hospital trips. This is baby number 5. You’d think I’d know what was going on by now. Guess not.

You are a trooper! I’m glad you gave in and let Jo scrub your bathroom floors. Good times!

    P.S.
USE the inhaler…all the cool kids are doing it.

I knew you had allergies, but I didn’t know it was that bad. What can I do to help?
Ariann wants a late night tomorrow, or Friday. (Would that help or hurt her at the moment-having your oldest, biggest help, gone late for a night.)
And I’m really glad that we got squeezed into your weekend. We had SO much fun.
    *hugs*

I’m sorry, but I’m still laughing about the image of a nerdy Amber walking around with her inhaler and a bunch of pancakes. Seriously. I hope you figure out what ailing you! It’s totally sucky being a mom and feeling crappy. :-)

That Jo is just so nice. I’m glad I got to benefit from her efforts. I had a blast, even though I had a major sleep deprivation hang over the next day.
