Wishing and Hoping

A month ago my front yard looked like this:

But I was encouraged by this:

Two Weeks ago I started wearing footwear like this…

My street was deserted:

I tried to use my Christmas present but it was too cold.

 

 

 

This week we did this for lunch:

And my street has once again been filled with bikes, ripsticks, hockey/soccer goals, kids, and more kids. Don’t drive down my street at more than 5 mph please.

My kids go outside as soon as I’ll let them and come in kicking and screaming at dinnertime (which has been closer to 8pm than 6….)

This forecast makes me a little sad though. I hope it’s wrong. Bring on Spring!

    I know! It’s actually warm today!! But it was a blizzard on my wedding day, March 26th, so I know better than to get excited.

    My kids are off track right now, and we’ve been enjoying the nice weather. They have been playing outside on the swings and trampoline most of the day.
    I’m pretty bummed about the weather next week too. It’s just been so nice to be able to get in the car and go someplace without having to locate a coat for everyone.
