I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas! We’ve had a great Christmas here at casa de Soggy Cheerios. We ate our traditional Chinese food ala Panda Express Christmas Eve dinner and then read a story together after changing into our new Christmas Jammies gifted to us by the Pajama Fairy (part played this year by Grandma in Vegas).
We were getting ready to go downstairs and have the girls watch a Christmas movie while Steve and I finished started wrapping presents and finishing our big gift when there was a knock on the door!
It was the big guy himself!
He talked to the girls, told them to go to sleep when they were told so he could come back later! Then they sang a song together and posed for a picture!
Oh- and he gave them all a candy cane- which fulfilled Cori’s Christmas wish!
Steve and I went to bed about 3am. The night before I went to bed at 6:30 am. I’ll show you what we’ve been working on in a minute.
Because of that I’m glad my girls like to sleep in. Ashley started waking people up at 8am. Corinne wasn’t ready even though there was presents involved.
Don’t try to touch her candy cane though!

(Steve built the frame out of PVC pipes and then I came up with the pattern for the cover. We worked together to cut it all out and sew it. There is vinyl in the windows. We’re moving it to the backyard when the snow melts).
