Happy Halloween!! (in November)
I know! It’s a little late. Sorry.
Our city does a ‘Pumpkin Walk’ every year where they have hundreds of pumpkins that have been carved. I was AMAZED at the detail that went into them.
Picture with everyone in it (except for me and Steve’s head) but the kids are making weird faces.
At least Ashley looks somewhat normal in this one. Cute sign huh?

This one was Megan’s favorite- she wanted to re-create it at home, but we didn’t have any small enough pumpkins.

Then we had our ward (church) Halloween Festival. I was in charge of planning it. I had some girls come over to help do cupcakes for the cupcake walk.

Before it got dark. See the fire in the middle? That’s where to handed out candy from. There was also s’more fixin’s and beverages for trick-or-treaters.

All the kids ready to go. Ashley was a Pirate, Megan and Annika were cowgirls and Corinne was their horse.

We just put our bowls on these benches and let kids go down the row and take some from each bowl. Cori only made it to two houses before losing it and came back to sit at the fire with me. She was the smartest trick or treater and she went back down the candy line about 20 times.

Annika and Megan rockin’ out!! It’s a video- if you click on it then it’ll open up Picasa where it’ll play for you. Annika gets so crazy that she hits herself in the face! It’s pretty hillarious.

Oh yeah! Great pics. It looks like the party was a success at your ward. I love all the pumpkins, I like Beaker the best too. I am not so good with pumpkin carving, so I am amazed when people do such a great job. The tramp pumpkin? Wow, such cleverness! And the kids are all cute, cute, and cuter!

Awesome pictures! I LOVED the tampoline pumpkin. What a great idea.
Remember when I made that Joseph Smith pumpkin and no one at my ward party even laughed? Jerks.
Also, that butt shaking thing Annika does is hilaire.

Wow! Great pictures and next year I’m coming to visit you!

Good idea to take pictures of the Cultural Hall when it was all set up. I never thought to do that when I was A.C.
Your street looks like fun on Halloween. The giant light up jack-o-lantern was the best. (And I already admitted I like Nova, so I’ll just say that Pumpkin Pi was the most clever, though not the one that required the most skill.)
Looks like a fun Halloween!!! Your ward party looks like it was a success and I’m amazed at the detail in the pumpkins on the pumpkin walk.
Awesome pictures!!
Ummm… You weren’t lying when you said there were five hundred pictures. Holy mother of pearl! And I might have scrolled past them all…. But I can see when I scroll, I swear!!!

Wow….just….wow. Yo’ hood is crazy! Of course being at BYU and in newly-wed wards forever makes anything more than a pumpkin on your porch seem crazy. My inner-child, however, thought that was awesome and wanted to see the haunted house. Maybe my outer grown-up did too and wanted to blame it on the inner-child so as not to look dumb. Sigh….

Your party was awesome! And I love what you do with your neighbors! Some friends in the cul-de-sac down the street sit out by their fire pit and hand out treats, saves the little kids from having to walk too far.
