I’m letting Ashley and Megan stay up- as long as they rub my feet with lotion.  Ashley is actually a very good foot massager.  Megan is smart (she was out here first) and said she’d do it if I did hers first.

Corinne was throwing an absolute tantrum about going to bed, insisting that she wanted to sleep in Daddy’s bed.  I told her if she didn’t go to bed she could sleep outside.  She threw herself to the floor and so Steve stuck her out on the back porch.  She promptly went to bed mad at both of us after we let her back in (like 30 seconds later- don’t go calling CPS!)

Annika also threw a tantrum and got put on the back porch.  They both went to bed very well after their ‘time out’.  I’m going to have to remember that.

I was in charge of the Halloween Festival at church- it went really well and even the decorations were great (usually that’s my biggest downfall).  I took a ton of pictures- but now I can’t find my camera.

The good mom part of that? My kid’s costumes were totally neglected since I spent all my Halloween energy on the party.

We also had a great party in our circle Halloween night. Once again- pictures are coming… when I find the camera.

Megan is doing great.  Yesterday I lost her several times.  I thought she was ‘resting’ or watching a movie only to find her outside.  Which isn’t bad but she was ‘trying to lean how to ride a skateboard’ or playing on the neighbors swing.   Sigh.  She’s obviously feeling good.  She’s still only eating Popsicles and ice cream and jello.  But I think that’s by choice not necessity.   We laid on her bed and watched a movie last night0 Megan woke me up because my snoring was making it so she couldn’t go to sleep.

Today we went to church because it was the Primary program so we took Megan to watch then Megan and I went home and everyone else stayed for Sunday school and stuff.  We watched a movie on my bed and I napped a bit.  When I woke up Megan informed me that once again I was snoring during the movie.

Apparently I’m tired.

Thanks for all the well wishes!

I’ve actually woken myself up snoring a few times this week. Guess I’m tired, too.

Hurry up and find your camera already!

It sounds like Megan is doing well and I am so happy to hear that. So did your kids end up wearing plastic bags for costumes?

I’m going to have to remember that porch thing. Totally awesome. I think you and I share a few brain cells, because that sounds like something I might say to my kids too! Glad Megan is rebounding…

We’ve done the porch thing before too.
Except we packed a suitcase for the offending child and told them that since they apparently didn’t like it here, they were welcome to find somewhere else to live.

The child lasted about 45 seconds.

My mom used to lock me in the dark garage when I was little. Must be a tried and true thing.

Gabriela has been put into the apartment hallway for throwing tantrums before too, which ended them pretty quick too!
