My brain is about to shut down in anticipation of the month ahead.  Once again I’m doing NaNo (National Novel Writing Month).  It starts today.  It’s 9:30 and I’ve not started typing yet. I do have much more of a plan then I did last year. Anyway- in the interest of ’something is better then nothing’ here is a meme from my sister Sarah (who we’re going to see for Thanksgiving!)….

5 things I was doing 10 years ago
1. I was ‘great with child.’ Child #1 in fact.
2. I was living in Las Vegas in the ghetto. (Scary neighborhood- one I can’t figure out how I lived there without being scared)
3. I was working for the ‘group of rich old men’ (cakest job ever)
4. I was the primary Chorister at church (led the kids music and taught them songs)
5. I never saw Steve since he was working full time and frantically trying to finish school.

5 things on my to do list today (things that I did do already since it’s 9:30)
1. get up early enough to get everyone else up early
2. drive to Logan to ‘run’ a 5K
3. clean kitchen
4. nap
5. clean up after puking children (okay- that wasn’t on my to do list- but it got added after they started puking!)

5 snacks I enjoy
1. ice cream
2. yogurt
3. smoothies
4. chips and salsa/guac/queso
5. anything chocolate

5 things I’d do if I were a millionaire
1. invest it
2. start college funds for my kids and nieces/nephews
3. travel
4. Some home improvements (tile downstairs bathroom surround, add a backsplash in the kitchen, do wetbar and bathroom cabinet, make master bedroom bigger, nice tv, pool table, built in desk for Steve) but we’d stay here because I love my house and neighborhood.
5. get a cleaning lady who also does laundry.
