So… conglomeration of thoughts

#1  Last Monday Steve had an ‘episode’.  The doctors aren’t sure what it was but he was so weird and out of it that I took him to the ER.  It’s still unresolved/unanswered and we won’t know anything unless it happens again.  Scariest 3 hours of my adult life.  Steve can’t really remember it.  He’s fine now- the worry is just having it happen again.  I can’t discuss it further without getting upset.

#2 I have a lump in my boob area.  Technically it’s not in breast tissue- but it feels like it’s in the boob. Clear as mud?  They’re 99% or so sure that it’s not cancer.  I honestly don’t worry (anymore) that it’s cancerous.  I do worry how an incision on the underpart of my boob will ever heal- and how I’ll not wear a bra for a week.  I’m having it removed tomorrow morning.

#3 Fall is here.  My garden is doing better then I expected- I’ve taken pictures to share…. which leads us to….

#4  I think my SD card is corrupted.  Everytime I try to download pictures it totally freezes my computer.  I’m going to try a couple more things….

#5  I fear I will never be caught up on laundry.  Ever. In my entire life.

#6  Ashley has started soccer (pictures are hopefully coming soon) and is actually pretty good.

#7  Annika has started preschool and LOVES it.

#8 Megan has grade 3 reflux.  After discussing the options (medicate and wait or surgery) and our family history (we discuss you often Heather) we’ve decided to go ahead with the surgery and not risk further damage to her kidneys. We’re set to go on November 5th or 7th… whichever day is a Friday.

#9  Corinne who was doing so good with potty training (again) is (again) back in diapers.  Anyone want to take her for a week and send her back potty trained?

#10 I’ve not been very bloggy lately. Not good at reading them, not good at writing them.  I’m sorry.

#11  I had a girls weekend with my mom and 3 of my sisters last weekend. It was really fun even though I forgot my camera (I can have fun without proof!) I am hoping my sister emails me pictures soon.

#12 Can I once again brag about how you should all be jealous of me?  This ‘go to school I heard the bell and come home when your done’ thing is LOVELY.  The man who we bought our house from stopped by this week to pick up some stuff they’d left (I’m aware it’s been 2 months) and asked if he could buy the house back.  I think he was mostly serious.  I told him word on the street was that I was never moving again.

So there you go.  Send me loves for tomorrow. :)  I’m going to go have a snack before I have to start fasting.

  3. Sheesh! You need another vacation after so much stress!

What you said about Steve made me think of my brother. He used to have seisures when he was a teenager. When he’d come out of them, he’d be very tired and didn’t remember them. Then he’d fall asleep and we’d have to tell him all over again what happened…several times.

As long as your family continues to wear clothes, you will never be caught up on laundry. It’s a sad fact.

    Good luck today!

  7. WOW! You’ve had quite the time. Good luck with tomorrow and let’s hope your husband doesn’t have any more episodes-that is so strange. Prayers to your daughter and her surgery. Love girls weekend-they are the best. Love reading about your family. Hope life just gets BETTER for you all.

  9. No bra for a week. My husband would be in Heaven.

I hope the episode Steve had never happens again, or if it does you’re able to figure out what it is.

    I’m also sorry about Meagan.

I feel for you with Corrine. Eden pooped in her panties yesterday. I was a little ticked off ’cause she just sat there and lied to me about having poop in her panties, rather than running to the bathroom.

    Good Luck.

  10. You can’t ever be caught up on laundry unless your family becomes a nudist family and quits wearing clothes! I do contemplate that option sometimes when I am drowing under our laundry.

  11. My goodness! So much going on… Well, I hope all your family health issues get resolved soon. Lumps and unknown episodes are especially scary. Oh, and my laundry is probably WAY worse than your laundry, so no worries. There’s always someone out there that is worse at doing their laundry than you are!

  12. Hope the surgery went well. I was wondering when it was last night and now I know. Hugs! Good luck with no bra for a week. :)

  13. Hopefully, they get everything taken care of for you today. You’ll be in my prayers. Part of me would be, “Yay. No BRAS!” The other part would be, “OMG. NO BRAS!” My girls rarley go without! LOL. If November the 5th would be the day, it would be a good day, because that’s my 9th Kidney Day. (I think it’s actually Wednesday though.)

  14. big hugs coming your way. I promise to not squeeze too tight and smush your boobs though.

  15. I hope it is nothing. I had a lypoma removed from my back a couple of years ago. A fancy shmancy word for “lump o’ fat”. It was under where my bra went in back. I hope that is all it is. I have been thinking about you all day.

I am so sorry about the “episode”. Wow. That would have me scared.

Oh and laundry, unless my family becomes nudists, I will never be done.

    (((HUGS))) love!

And don’t feel bad on the potty training thing. We’re struggling with Kenzie. She’s good at preschool, she’s good at church, she’s good pretty much anywhere but home. But here it’s accidents all the time. I’m going NUTS!
