4th of July Week in Review- part 3- First annual kickball tournament
Published by amberlicious July 23rd, 2008 in How we celebrate, Mostly pictures, kids are growing, stuff with extended familyTo finish up our family week of festivities we had a kickball tournament. We took advantage of the park outside our back gate for our kickball diamond. If you want hysterics a game of kickball with 12 kids ages 9 and under (average age is 4) is a good place to start. It was a blast though.
Team captains, your first choice.
The rules are you must alternate between choosing an adult and a kid each choice.
Hmmm… Looks like the Dad’s are a favorite first pick…
The last choices- we’re so sad!
Team Lily picked first so they started in the outfield.
Team Ashley’s first kicker is a power house- go Cori!
She made it safely to third base with her (hand holding) coach! Yay Cori!
Look at the form! Nicely done Katie!
Jake gets a running start on his ball
Okay when the ball rolls here KICK it
Eve’s turn to pitch, look at that approach
And a little hula hooping (angela won that contest)
I am now the sister arm wrestling champion of the family though. Good to know huh? I think I need a trophy.
