I’ve got pictures!

I’ve copied some pictures of our new place from the MLS. I’m getting really excited!

This is the front of the house.  I’m excited for the cute front porch and the landscaping options.  It’s also in the ‘end’ of a cul-de-sac. A cul-de-sac swarming with small children.

This pictures is the living room.  If you look down in the bottom right hand corner you’ll see some of the beautiful tile entryway.

This is the kitchen (duh).  I love the wideness of it- and the granite  countertops and the not light oak cupboards.  It has a huge pantry (that you can’t see).  Through the kitchen is the laundry- with built in cabinets and a countertop and a window to the back yard.

Dining room (more pretty tile)

One kid room.  See the window seat?  It lifts up into two different compartments for storing ‘treasures’.

Master.  One of the biggest drawbacks in the house. It’s little.  Need to sell our bedroom set and buy something smaller kind of little.  But honestly I don’t spend much time in the master bedroom.  I don’t need it to be huge.  I’m hoping if it’s smaller I’ll keep it cleaner.  It does have some cool features though- see the molding?  There’s a plug up there with lighting- the switches for that? Next to the bed (you can see them just over the pillow on the right hand side) along with switches for the fan and main light.  Yay!  Ingenious really.

bathroom with granite and nice cabinets above the toilets (yay for no more prefabs from target!)

Corner of the downstairs family room with the plumbed wet bar location and the french door walkout to the backyard.

The family room makes an “L” shape (but with equal sides) this is the ‘theater’ side of the L.

This is the view from the deck.  The City park field.

If you look the other way you’ll see the elementary school off in the distance (YAY!!)  Yes we have a gate. :)

For those that have wondered/worried- we’re not moving far.  It’s the next city over from where we are now- only about 7 minutes from our current house.  I’m excited to settle down in a place where we can (hopefully) stay for a very long time.

  16. I want a window seat, a beautiful kitchen, a fenced in yard and a school within a stone’s throw. But, then again, you would really love to come visit me and walk through our woods and ride on our go-kart with the boys (I’ve been trying to post a video of that for three days now! ugh!) and see deer and other wildlife right in the yard. So, I guess I’ll stick with my old borrowed house!
