Got some boxes?
We bought a house!! Well- we have a contract on a house- so we should be closing the beginning of June- and moving after school gets out on June 20. The school we’re moving to is a year round school- which means that school will most likely start July 21.
I don’t have pictures to share right now- well- none that aren’t connected to a map showing it’s location. But I’ll tell you this- my backyard has a gate to the park behind it, which is connected to the elementary school. The junior high and High School are also within walking distance. YAY! It’s in a cul-de-sac that is full of kids. It’s a great ‘party house’ which is important since I’m a big entertainer. The kitchen is beautiful- as is the main floor laundry with a counter top and built in cabinets.
There are lots of little touches that make it a beautiful and functional house. The upstairs kids bedrooms have window seats that have storage under them and night lights with dimmers in the ceiling. There is a front porch and a back deck. There is a computer niche in the hall downstairs big enough for a desk, but not ‘in the way’ or taking up an entire room.
The back yard has a garden built already- there is gorgeous tile in the entry and the kitchen, the countertops are granite. I’m seriously giddy. Also it took less then 24 hours to have a contract. So much nicer then last time!
PS. It’s snowing- again. This is getting old.

Yay!! We’re about to do the same thing, we just have to find the house! Good luck with the move! I know I’m not looking forward to all of that!
I’m really sick of the snow. It wouldn’t be so bad if it were just a freak storm, but they just keep coming and ruining the weather.

Wow, I am so excited for you! That sounds likes a fabulous house! I want to see pictures! (But I can wait until they are not attached to the map part!) And it’s snowing?!? Seriously?!? Remember my “Why I Love Texas” post? I think I’ll add “It doesn’t snow in May on it! (I’m actually kidding! I grew up in Utah, and still consider myself a Utahn at heart, although I do love Texas!)
