   I used to buy Ben and Jerry’s because it was the best, even if it was expensive. Then they kinda let their politics get the best of their brand and I stopped buying. I don’t agree with a lot of their ideas so I choose not to support them in any way.

   And no, I don’t think it’s that simple at all.

   So did you join? What do they do?
   I have a problem with asking the federal government to do anything to help with education. The Founding Fathers put education as a responsibility of the states. If we accept any help from the feds, then they can dictate to us how to run our school systems. Like, for example, No Child Left Behind. Not a good idea, never was, and I hope someone gets rid of it.

   Ok…so I didn’t watch those. I probably will when I’m back home (my husband calls me a hippy liberal freak, so I’m curious). I’m at my in-laws and they have a super slow computer. But I just wanted to say…I will be eating Ben and Jerry’s tomorrow…at their factory in Vermont. LOL! But normally it’s too expensive and fatty so I don’t buy it. LOL!

   No it is not that simple, yes we do most likely spend more than we need to on military, but that does not mean spending less for military will equal spending more for those other programs. Likely if we spent less on military it would be re alloted toward social security (the largest voting block of people) or be given back as a tax cut, or heaven forbid, be used to reduce the budget deficit. Besides, if all military actions are lumped into one group called pentagon, then shouldn’t some of those other categories be lumped together also, it still does not equal anywhere near the total, but let compare apples to apples here.

   Interesting! I don’t consider myself a liberal hippie ect. I feel more along the moderate lines. But I do feel like there needs to be CHANGE!
