Who’s your favorite?
Me. I know.
We have a long standing family joke fighting over who’s the favorite. Not just Mom’s favorite (um, that’s clearly me) but also the ‘favorite sister’ (clearly me in most cases, clearly not me in others- I can admit that). My brother has pointed out that he’s hands down the favorite brother (probably the ONLY advantage to having 8 sisters and no brothers) but today I’m clearly the favorite everything.
I talked to (in this order) my mom, my sister Jessica, (my sister Hannah beeped in and I ignored her called her back later), my mom, Aunt Hope, Hannah, Hannah, my sister Katie. Was there some tragedy? No- (although Hope was cleaning out her garage) just every day visiting mostly. I’m just that loved.
Continue with your regularly scheduled evening. I’m going to go try out my new yoga DVD. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Are you the favorite? um, I think I can say yes. not from my parents, but from my sister.
Do you have a favorite kid and/or sibling? Yes, and yes. Shhhhh dont tell my kids. and my sister probably knows.

I was SO my Mom’s favorite…until my little bro got kicked out of his apartment and his crazy wife (of less that 2 months) demanded a divorce…got hit by a car, and contracted the shingles in the same year! Now he is clearly the favorite. Not that anyones counting! I even told my Mom this earlier this week…I think she was offended. It doesn’t hurt me that he is the favorite…he just is. Someday I will likely reclaim the favorite status…but if it takes getting hit by a car… I’ll pass!
This is a hot-button topic in my family.
I say I’m the favorite, while my baby sister good-naturally claims the title as well (even though we know she’s not the favorite). Daughter #2 is the only one who gets annoyed by this competion (but that’s because she’s not the favorite).
I was the favorite sister when we were all younger, but now I think there’s a three way tie among the four of us for favorite sister.

My brother was my mom’s favorite until I became the first to provide her with grandchildren.
Now that my brother and his wife have popped out two kids, I might be losing some favorite points, however, we still have twice as many kids as they do.
I can’t wait until my brother and SIL have twice as many as us. If they actually get to eight kids, then he will deserve to be the favorite.
(No, they are not planning on eight, I just think it would be fun to watch my brother with that many kids. Preferrably all girls ;0)
I always have a current favorite sister. I often have a current favorite child, (which ever is currently NOT making me want to poke my eyes out).

My husbands two uncles are always vying for favorite! It is pretty funny. It pretty much depends on who is there as to who the fav is!
There are 4 of us girls. Two haven’t spoken to my mom in years I don’t think they are her favorites. So it would be a tie between my older sister and me but she lives 5 minutes from my mom so I am pretty much sure it is her.
Do I have a favorite kid…I have a sassy, moody 8 year old and a funny, cute 2 year old…do I even have to admit that I do?
