I paid the $3 to see the 4 corners area and found it to be sort of spiritual, maybe it was a feeling of being ripped off. Who knows. It is a large cement area with the approximate state lines painted on engravings that extended for about 20 yards in all directions. It would have been impressive if the lines extended for a couple of miles and perhaps worth a dollar.
What they say here is “Support your local Natives” no matter how much you over pay.
We will be in Utah between Dec 26 and 30th. We have talked about stopping by for an hour or two.

Looks like a lot of fun. And the colorful state…who are we kidding?!?!?! I live here in Colorado and it’s not colorful. It’s brown, it’s yellow…heck, you’ll see some green in the summer. But that’s hardly colorful. LOL!

I didn’t know they charged at the four corners either. That’s too bad because if you already have to leave the beaten path…they should be grateful for whoever actually makes it there.

Beige and wheat…totally different.

That four corners fee makes me mad! I remember walking there uphill both ways, barefoot in the snow and it was FREE!
