From my comfy chair. I have some fabulous news!! My laptop that has been caput for months? Now is fixed!!!! Just in time for some NaNoWriMoing all the way to New Mexico and back. I can’t tell you how excited I am. It’s like I’ve been reunited with a long lost lover… In a good way.
I want to do the happyest happy dance ever!!
My sister’s brother in law fixed it for me in exchange for cake (my favorite method of payment ever). But mostly because he’s a nice guy. YAY YAY YAY YAY!! Thanks Ryan!!

~Amber looks up from her laptop on the airplane, feeling an odd feeling of un-ease. Then she looks down and sees a filmy tendril of black material wiggling under her chair. Nope, definitely wasn’t the wind from the door. She looks under her chair to see what direction the tendril is coming from and sees the haunted face staring back at her.
“What are you doing? Get writing!”
And the face dissappears.~
I can tell you work is a work of fiction because I think Amber is writing in a car on the way to New Mexico!
YAY!
Now lets hope that you dont get car sick from typing.
dang…oh I mean…yipppeee!
(I better get writing faster…I got a turkey to brine and cook while you’re typing away on the open road.)
Yay for laptops! Have fun in NM! I’ve never been there, but I’ve made Josh promise me we’ll go before we move out of this area. The NM border isn’t too terribly far from his troop office (his troop borders NM). And thank you for the sling. I’ll check out that site tomorrow to figure it out. Josie is a mommas girl time ten…she HATES to be away from me and I need to start getting stuff done around here…I’m hoping it will help.
