OUCH!

Pain in my house.

broken-phone.JPG

Anyone have a sprint phone they’re not using that they’d want to send me? Our contract isn’t up until the end of march. Until then the cheapest phone that I can buy without renewing my contract is $149.95. OUCH. I’ve been looking on ebay- and there are some deals. I’m just nervous about buying a phone when who knows if I’ll be able to activate it. Good thing I like Cori right?

PS cake of the week is up

  1. We are looking for new phones right now. I asked the people at Tmobile if they had child friendly phones. They looked at me like I had spoken dutch to them. “you know, one that will live through being dropped in a toilet and thrown on a tile floor?” They werent very helpfull.
Forget super thin and “flippy” I want covered in rubber and made of kevlar.

  2. Don’t they have used ones? When I lost my phone one month after my plan started, I went to the cingular store in the mall and bought one for $30.

  3. Totally different subject:

I had a good baking experience this week. I made gingerbread cookies, cut them out with my leaf-shaped cookie cutters, and dusted them with plain white granulated sugar. They were a big hit and beautiful food to boot. Also gingerbread has no eggs in it. If you have anyone who requests vegan dessert, it is one option. I meant to take a picture of them, but they were eaten up too fast.

Gingerbread is not bery sweet so the sugar is necessary to make them taste good. I also like them with icing, but if you want them to be vegan you can’t use butter in it.

If you want to save money I could embroider more aprons or the shirts for Amberlicious. It may not be as durable for washing as commerically satin-stitched embroidery is, however.

  4. I have one. It’s charging right now (had to make sure I had the right cord). It’s been in the toybox, but I’m pretty sure it’s still functional. Do you need any numbers off the back to make sure it’s compatible? It’s a samsung that we used on Sprint until two years ago, so it should be good.

  5. looks like Val’s yer girl… told ya

  6. Dude, that sucks! Glad you have Val who can help ya!

  7. eeeek! What is it with babies and phones? As for replacing it from eBay, my mil recently had a really good experience doing that. The phone didn’t end up working with her contract, or something odd like that, and the seller gave her a full refund, minus shipping. You want I should get you the sellers id? It was an eBay store, not a little ol’ seller. lmk.

  8. oops. diddn’t read the other comments first.

  9. Hey, check with Katie’s sister… she works for a phone company, but I don’t remember which one … Good luck! You should invent the kid proof phone and get very very rich!
