Only Megan
I’m convinced that there is at least one child in each family who is accident prone. One that finds trouble everywhere they go. The child that takes risks and has no fear. In our family it’s Megan. She doesn’t stop to think about danger. When she was two she stuck her finger in the paper shredder. About 4 months ago she cut her finger with a butterknife. It was bad enough that she got three stitches.
Fast forward to last weekend. We went bowling with some friends and their boys and ended up at urgent care getting Megan stitches again, in her chin. That kid has talent. I’m pretty sure that she’s the first person in the history of the great sport of bowling to require stitches in her chin from a bowling accident.
She was sitting on a chair waiting for her turn when she leaned forward and the ball slipped out of her lap. It pulled her forward and as the ball bounced up off the floor Megan fell forward and met it with her chin. The bowling lanes were not helpful at all. She was bleeding everywhere and screaming and all they were worried about was covering their butts so that we didn’t sue them.
She was very brave at the urgent care though. They asked her to put her hands under her but while they did the stitches and not move- and she didn’t move at all. She kept her hands still and didn’t move or try to stop the doctor at all. Stitches are going to be no big deal pretty soon. In fact I took them out tonight rather then take her to the doctor and pay $20 to spend an our or more to see the doctor for two minutes to get them out.

sounds like stitches are no big deal for either of you. Char’s making fun of your capitalization.
