Odds and Ends
Published by amberlicious September 27th, 2007 in blah blah blah, remember when?, stuff we doWith the help of my friend Val I’ve packed up to box 83. The laundry room was packed yesterday. Val and I knocked out the kitchen this morning. I just might be ready to move by tomorrow night (our goal). Agg!
I figured out which ward/building we’re supposed to attend after much calling around (LDS.org where you usually find out was wrong). I ended up talking to my next door neighbor who also happens to be the RS pres. She was so nice! Also? She’s got a nine year old daughter. YAY!
I went over and picked up a garage door opener today from the current tenant. She’s going to leave the key and other opener inside when she leaves. Also? We’ve been needing to get some more beds. She’s got a bunkbed (sturdy looking) that she doesn’t want to move and offered to leave it if we wanted- which I decided I did. The girls got to see the house (so far I’m the only one that’s seen the inside.) They’re SO excited.
My head is killing me. Seriously killing. I’ve taken a bunch of drugs and it’s not helping. Not a good sign. I know it’s a tension/stress headache. Which is sort of ironic since the headache causes more stress which makes it worse. Ugg.
I’m feeling at a loss for what’s left to pack. I hate this part where you get down to ’stuff’. Things that don’t really fit into a box- or don’t seem like they should go into a box together. I just need to get a box and put as much stuff in it as I can moving from room to room. But it causes me stress.
School starts Monday. YAY! Ashley NEEDS to go to school so badly!! She’s so bored. She’s generally a really good kid- but she tends to torment her sisters and disrupt the delicate balance that is Megan and Annika getting along when she’s bored.
This is probably my last post before disconnecting the computer (but I’m not promising). Wish me luck!!

Good luck!
We moved a year and a half ago, and I still twitch when I think about it. It’s so not fun. Best of luck!
Good Luck!
I wish you all the luck in the world. I hate that point in moving when it all sort of gets shoved in boxes because you out of time, and there is always more than you think here should be.
But just think of all the stuff that you could have an excuse to get rid of.
sending you luck. BTDT- I SO know your pain.
big hugs!
Wow…so much good. But darn that headache!
AH, the infamous “stuff” boxes! We still have a couple of those that remained unopened…and we moved in 4 years ago!
Good luck! (hope your head feels better!)
