The Reciprocal World of Blogging
You comment I follow- I’m instituting a new ‘linky follow’ policy. Basically you want a link on my blog? Leave a comment and I’ll add you. Sound fair? So if you’re not here and you want to be let me know (on a post on the main page- comments on this page have been disabled.)
Basically Serious Bloggers are all about reciprocal love. The fastest way to increase your readership is to read and comment on other blogs. My blog is a link friendly location. I’ve moved my blogroll from the side bar to a page so that it’s more easily managed and rearranged. Plus too long of a blogroll on the sidebar bothers me aesthetically.
So I’ve updated my links as of tonight. I basically feel that if they’re good enough to be on my reader then they’re good enough to share. Of course my blog is a family friendly place. I of course can’t take responsibility for the content of other blogs- but for the most part if your blog isn’t family friendly that would be the only time I won’t link back to you.

I’m so bad about getting to all the blogs on my blogroll! I’m try to make up for it every few weeks by going through them all but everyone is so prolific that I can’t stay on top of them all like I’d like. I’m always happy to get over here though!
Totally unrelated to this post: I just looked at your books link. “The Bean Trees” is by Barbara Kingsolver. She is one of my favorite authors - keep reading her.
Am I linky-ied?
How is moving anyway?
Tough love. I get it.
do I still count as a “real” friend? lol
Wow, I was all set to leave a comment but then - you’ve already linked to me! That’s pretty nifty! Does that mean I get to sit with the cool kids at lunch?
Jessica you are the cool kids!
DeeDee you were linked from day one.
Thanks Hope- I fixed it. I enjoy Barbara Kingsolver too. I’ve read some of her other stuff (poisonwood bible right?)
Hey Amber. You are all creative and smart with your blog. It looks good!
