DeDee tagged me with 5 questions.

1–What color most describes you and why? Are you blue? Green? If green, are you forest or hot or pear? Or are you a brownish-orange color? Or are you the vibrant red/purple that can only be found in a sunset? There are lots of colors in this world, pick one or two. Or does it depend on the mood?

I’m finding this question difficult to answer- so in my usual fashion I’ll ramble aimlessly and hope you get what I mean. I’m really into blue and yellow right now. It makes me happy. Well- in my house it makes me happy.

On my kids I’m loving pink and brown. Or green and brown, or pink and brown.
2–What smell most reminds you of your childhood home and why?

The smell of cottonwood trees after it rains. It reminds me of riding my bike to school in ohio. Or the smell of campfires.
3–What is your favorite article of clothing and why?

Right now I don’t really have one. I’m not really in a happy place as far as my weight/fitness level- and nothing really fits ‘right’ and I’m refusing to buy anything more. So nothing?
4–If you could meet a President of the United States of America, living or dead, which one would it be and why?

I’m going to say George Washington. I think a lot of politicians get elected (especially now) because they have the most money or know the most people with the most money. They say what they want people to hear rather then what they really believe- and what they say changes with who they’re saying it to. George Washington was the ideal of what our President should be like. He worked hard fighting to make our country what it was then- and then refused to become the king because that’s what we’d just fought to get away from. Anyway- I think he’s been our country’s best president- so I’d want to meet him.

5–If I were to visit you and want you to take me to the place in your town/city that you love most, aside from you house, where would it be and why do you love it?

Well- I don’t love my house/apartment currently. I think I’ve whined said that more than once. Layton does have a great city park though that I LOVE. It’s huge. It has a duck pond and huge trees that shade everything. The playground is huge also- but my favorite part (and my kids favorite part) is that it has a merry-go-round. I’ve not sen one of those at a park since I was a little kid! I’m not that far- you should come up and we could go play at the park!

Okay- Now I’m supposed to tag 5 people of my own and come up with my own five questions.

1- What is your favorite meal to make for your family?

2- What is your least favorite chore?

3- Why do you blog?

4- What is your favorite board/computer game?

5- If you could live anywhere comfortably (job/salary/cost of living not relevant) where would you live and why?

I sure hope you get out of the place soon…there’s just no “happy place” when you’re crammed into a small space, y’know? Prayin’ for ya!

  2. 2 Hope

I promise to do it tomorrow. I am EXHAUSTED from moving Emily back to school today.

Awesome answers. I’ll see if I can find time to pop up. It really isn’t that far. I do have a cousin up there and we could have a little party.

    Hmmm . . .

Yee-haw! I love being actually “tagged” for things and not just invited to participate. Even though, I have done the open invitation thing myself.

I’m glad I don’t have to answer that color one. I got confused by the question. I don’t want to be a pear!

1- What is your favorite meal to make for your family?

Hmmm, this is hard to choose. I really like to cook and feed people - that’s just what I do. I really like to make fajitas because if I use the low carb tortillas I can eat a lot of it and I like that everybody really likes them. I also like to make traditional holiday meals like turkey dinner - ALWAYS with real mashed potatoes. MMMMMMMM….

2- What is your least favorite chore?
Taking the recycling and trash to the dump. In the winter it is cold and miserable. In the summer it’s MAGGOT SEASON.

    3- Why do you blog?
It gets me writing and thinking even though it’s not super creative usually. I think if it just makes me sit and do the act of writing the creativity will come. I also like my friends and family able to know what is going on with my life.

4- What is your favorite board/computer game?
    Scrabble on both accounts.

5- If you could live anywhere comfortably (job/salary/cost of living not relevant) where would you live and why?

Probably Santa Fe, but I have never been there! I don’t know what got me going on it, but the more I find out the more I like. I want warmer weather, active art/music/ creative community, mountains, proximity to family and less humidity. I hope to make a visit there sometimes in the next year and see if I am crazy or not. (No crazy jokes, please!)

I don’t think I’ll “tag” anybody, but here are five questions I would ask, so answer if you like.

    1) What is your earliest memory?

    2) Have you ever done anything that you still really regret and do you think the issue will ever be resolved for you?

    3) What is your favorite room in your house? How do you feel when you are in that room?

    4) Has your life “turned out” the way you imagined it would so far?

    5) Do you have a certain song or album you listen to when you are really happy, sad, or feeling some specific emotion?
